A juried $1000 cash award will be gifted for a work of exceptional vision, craftsmanship, or conceptual depth. 

The Gallery

A provocative visual arts exhibition exploring the emotional, psychological, and deeply personal landscapes of confinement, survival, and liberation. 

The Movement 

An electrifying all-female winter dance celebration and live performance event where the body becomes an act of resistance. Through movement, participants reclaim autonomy, break invisible boundaries, and celebrate resilience, survival, and collective strength in the heart of winter. 

Who Can Apply: Open to all artists residingin South East Queensland. Emerging, established, and collaborative artists are all encouraged to apply. 

Cost: There is no fee for EOI. If you are invited to submit work for the exhibition, a fee of $35 is requested inclusive of GC Creative Events Inc. annual membership fee. Already a member, membership fee will be subtracted from exhibition fee. 

Sale of Work: Artists may list works for sale; a 15% commission applies. GST obligations (if applicable) remain the artist’s responsibility. 

Mediums Accepted: Painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, ceramics, textiles, video, audio, installation, and more. (Size limit: 2m³; specify technical needs.)

Selection Process: Artists will be selected by a curatorial panel based on artistic merit, relevance of their theme- proposal and suitability for space. A formal invitation will be sent in October 2026.
