In Loving Memory of Elaine Duyvestyn
It is with deep sadness that the Cranbourne Softball Club announces the passing of Elaine Duyvestyn, a cherished member of our community and one of the founding pillars of our club.
Elaine’s contribution to Cranbourne Softball began at the very beginning. As a founding member, she helped shape the spirit, culture and camaraderie that continue to define our club today. Her presence around the diamonds was a constant reminder of what dedication, passion and community truly look like.
Elaine remained actively involved in the sport she loved. Her ongoing connection with the Melbourne Softball community reflected her unwavering commitment and the joy she found in staying close to the game and the people within it. Elaine showed us all that involvement in sport extends far beyond participation — it is about friendship, belonging and love for the game.
Elaine will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will continue to live on in every season played, every new member welcomed, and every moment shared on and off the field.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Nol and the Duyvestyn family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and support are with you.
Rest peacefully, Elaine. Your diamond in the sky awaits.
