Criteria for a Cumberland Nepean Softball Association Statistician - Representative Team
The Statistician is responsible for collecting, checking and recording statistical information of Softball games and players regarding the CNSA Softball Representative Team / Program.
Responsibilities
- Support the CNSA Head Coach as part of the representative softball program for the respective team
- Score each game of Softball including: writing up team lists, recording player statistics, recording changes, completing requirements as per the tournament
- Provide statistics to the Head Coach, Softball NSW or CNSA Representative Officers as required
- Attend all relevant events as outlines by the Head Coach e.g. Gala Days, Training days and State championships
- Complete training as required by CNSA, Softball NSW and Softball Australia
- Work with the CNSA Representative Liaison Officer/s
- Attend parent / player meegtings as required
- Other ad hoc requirements as required for the positioin and as set by CNSA
Selection Criteria
- Eligibitlity is set by Softball NSW. To understand the level required for your applications, please refer to the Softball NSW State Championship Regulations (Page 24).
- Previous experience scoring at Representative Level
- Available for both days of the State Championships
- Demonstrated strong working relationships with others such as support staff, managers, umpires
