WEATHER SITES

  • Canberra Yacht Club weather station - www.canberrayachtclub.com.au/ which has a weather drop down menu and weather station as well as cameras – gives very exact wind readings for the northern end of the lake
  • Windfinder at Canberra airport - www.windfinder.com/report/canberra_airport which, given this data is recorded just 2 km from the rowing club, gives a very accurate picture of weather.
  • Mobile apps - Weather au or weatherzone – the classic apps which allows you to see wind speed, both current and projected
  • BOM weather – for those who love the definitive weather website www.bom.gov.au
