Junior Boys Indoor Hockey 2026/27 – Expression of Interest

With the 2026/27 Indoor Hockey season fast approaching, we are now looking to gauge interest from our Junior Boys players, as well as parents and other team officials who may be interested in helping out.
The Junior Boys season is scheduled to commence in October 2026, with the starting dates currently listed as:
- Junior Supers Boys: Friday 23 October 2026
- Junior Indoor League 1 Boys: Sunday 18 October 2026
- Junior Indoor League 2 Boys: Friday 23 October 2026
- Junior Indoor League 3 Boys: Friday 23 October 2026
- U12 Boys: Sunday 18 October 2026
- Hookin2Indoor: Sunday 18 October 2026
The season is scheduled to run through to March 2027, with Junior Supers and Junior Indoor League teams playing 10 rounds followed by semi-finals and grand finals.
This survey is not a commitment at this stage. It is simply an opportunity for us to understand who is interested in being involved so we can start planning teams, coaches, managers, team officials and umpiring requirements for the season.
For Players
We want to know who would like to play indoor hockey, including which competition or level you may be interested in. The Junior Boys competitions include Junior Supers and Junior Indoor League Divisions 1, 2, 3 & U12's, with final grades determined through the team nomination process.
For Parents & Officials
We are also looking for people who may be willing to put their hand up and help with:
- Coaching
- Team management
- Umpiring
- Other support roles around the team
Umpiring will be particularly important, as teams outside the grades where Hockey ACT appoints umpires will be required to fulfil their own umpiring commitments throughout the season.

Your responses will help us determine the level of interest, work out how many teams we may be able to nominate, and identify the people available to help make the season a success.
