The Under 18 Boys have wrapped up a successfull weekend falling 1 game short of the final at the recent Under 18 State Championships

The team had wins against Sydney South 4-0, Metro South West 6-0 and Far North Coast 3-0. Despite a loss against North West Sydney 3-2 the team finished top of the pool and played Illawarra South Coast in the semi final. 

Unfortunately after a tight first half Illawarra managed to score 2 quick goals in the 3rd quarter and held on to win.

Illawarra went on to play Newcastle in the Grand Final with the Newcastle boys winning 3-0.

At the conclusion of the weekend the Hockey NSW Accelerated Athlete Program (AAP) squad were chosen  with Nick Reid, Noah Needham, Sam Carr and Finlay Healey all selected to participate in the program over 2021/22 in the lead up to the 2022 U18 Nationals.
