Welcome to the upcoming winter polo block! This program is designed to keep our skills sharp and maintain fitness through the off-season in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
Note: This event is via invitation only. If you register without an invitation your spot may be removed.
Key Dates & Schedule
Duration:8 Weeks
Dates:July 6th – August 24th
Session Times:7:30 PM – 8:50 PM
Women’s Competition:Monday nights
Men’s Competition:Wednesday nights
Competition Format & Time Allocations
We are capping the program at36 to 40 players maxto ensure high-quality game time for everyone. To maximize our pool booking, time allocations are strictly structured as follows:
Teams:4 teams per night (9 to 10 players per team).
Match Structure:Two 40-minute event blocks.
Game Clock Breakdown:Each match consists of4 x 7-minute actual play quarterswith 2-minute breaks (totaling 34 minutes of pool time per game). The remaining minutes account for cap changes and warm-ups.
Player Development & Flexibility
Dynamic Teams:Teams will bere-assigned each week. This ensures a variety of player combinations, helping everyone learn to adapt to different teammates and tactical styles.
The "Double-Up" Opportunity:If there are lower attendee numbers on a specific night, players may have the opportunity toplay both 40-minute games.
Maximize Your Entry (Swim Fitness):Because you are paying for pool entry, we want to maximize our pool space. Those who are not playing in the active match or helping officiate are expected to utilize the shallow 25m space for swim fitness.
Flexibility:Please come with a flexible mindset so we can all get the most out of this opportunity.
Cost per Athlete
The winter fees are split into a fixed pool booking cost and individual pool entry.
Forum Pool Booking Fee:$110.00 per person
This is the flat registration cost to secure the 8-week block and covers the venue hire.
Pool Entry Fee:$52.00(8 weeks × $6.50 per entry) Note: Entry to the venue is the individuals responsibility each week and not included in the event cost.
Membership Exemptions:If you have an active Forum membership or Fitness Passport, you can utilize these at the front desk for entry to avoid paying this fee.
Registration Note:To accommodate players with these memberships, the pool entry fee is not included in the baseline HH registration fee. If you do not have a membership, you will just need to pay the casual $6.50 entry at the door each week.
Partnership Note:A deal to secure a partnership around swim fitness has not yet been established. If achieved, it would provide additional training benefits but will increase overall fees.
