The Canberra Pirates invite prospective players to attend the 2026 team tryouts, to be held on:

• Date: Sunday, 15 February
• Time: 2:30 PM
• Venue: Phillip Ice Rink
• Cost: $25 per participant

All participants must be registered by 5:00 PM Saturday, 14 February. 

This session will assess player skills, teamwork, and suitability for the upcoming season. All athletes seeking to represent the Canberra Pirates are encouraged to attend.

Participants are required to hold valid IHA insurance. This will include players who have participated in Pirates 2025, C Grade, Women’s League, or any other IHA‑sanctioned competition. If you do not currently hold valid insurance, please contact us at Canberrapirates@gmail.com prior to attending.

Season Commitments

Players selected for the 2026 roster will compete in scheduled games across:

• Sydney
• Newcastle
• Erina
• Canberra

Season fees are anticipated to be approximately $400.

Weekly team training will be held on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM.
