Welcome to the Canterbury 2026/27 season!
If you have more than one child to register, please use the code DUTYBOND in the Discount field + press Apply for each athlete after your first. Duty is payable once per family, per season. Please make sure that only one duty bond is showing at checkout.
Do not use the code for Open, Master, Concession or Community membership registration.
Canterbury Athletics Club is based at Campbell Athletic Field on Princess St, Canterbury. Welcoming athletes from 3 (Tiny Tots) to 90 (Masters) of all abilities for fun, fitness and friendship.
- LITTLE ATHLETICS competiton is held Friday nights between September to March from 6:00 pm for children aged 3 to U20. Athletes have their own (optional) training sessions and championship pathway opportunities.
- COMMUNITY MEMBERS aged 20+ can join Sunday morning and Tuesday evening training, plus enjoy in-house social comp.
- OPEN & MASTERS welcomes members aged 20 & over to train together and compete at inter-club championship events.
How to Register
Please read the following instructions carefully before starting the registration process to ensure that you register easily and correctly.
If you are registering for a child, please make sure you ensure you enter the athlete's details, not the parent’s.
Returning Member
Returning Member registration:
- Select “Returning Member”
- Complete the name, date of birth and gender of the athlete (National ID not required)
- Click “Next Step”
- This will generate an email to the email address you provided as part of the athlete's registration last year containing the next steps in the registration process and links to the athlete's National ID. Follow those prompts.
Athletes are Returning Members if they were registered:
- with Little Athletics NSW (LANSW) from 2024 or after;
- as a dual LANSW and Athletics NSW athlete; or
- with a Senior (Opens & Masters) Club previously.
Everyone else should select 'New Member'.
Canterbury Athletics Club is powered by volunteers, including Age Managers & Committee
Duty Bond is applicable for familities with athletes from Tiny Tots to U20s, participating in Friday night competition.
To ensure enough help is available to run events and operations smoothly, each family with a child participating pays a compulsory Duty Bond of $150, charged at the time of registration. This bond is refunded at the conclusion of the season as long as 8 different nights of duty (per family) have been completed. Of those duties, they must complete 1 of each:
- Canteen/BBQ; and
- Track Marshall (Circular or Straight Track).
Membership Fees
- Tiny Tots: $153 ($75 Canterbury & $78 Athletics NSW fee) + $150 Duty Bond per family
- 6s to (U)20s: $183 ($85 Canterbury & $98 Athletics NSW fee) + $150 Duty Bond per family
- Opens membership: $213
- Community membership (age 20+): $53 for training & Opens in-house social comp

Additional Notes
- Proof of Age: Returning Canterbury members can move past this step. If you are new to Canterbury Athletics, you can choose to upload the document, OR move past & show your document in person at Registration Pick Up, along with any First Aid and CPR certification (if applicable).
- Please register all members in one transaction to avoid unneccessary administration fees and charges. Before finalising payment, click “Register another member” to move to the next athlete. Do not click “Start again” to register a subsequent athlete.
- Please do not enter a false date of birth - registration fees will not be refunded.
