he Cammeray Summertime Tournament is something new for AC croquet players. All in one weekend under the daylight saving sky. Games will be played Games will be 14 point advanced handicap games with lifts and contacts as described in Association Croquet Laws Seventh Edition Laws 51.3 and 52.4 (the lift hoops are 3 and 4 and any rover ball may peg out or peg out another rover ball). Time will be limited to 1 hour and 20 minutes. If hoops scored are equal then play continues until the next hoop is scored or two turns have finished (i.e. the player in play and then the opponent). If scores are still equal the player who scored the last hoop will have one hoop added to their score and become the winner. Game results will not be entered on handicap cards as this tournament is an experiment! However please bring your card as it will be used to determine your playing bisques. The entry fee is $50 and includes lunch each day. Entries will be limited to 16 players. Play will be in four blocks of four. Players will then be grouped into another four blocks of four according to the previous block result, The first of these blocks will be Green Block and will consist of Blue 1st, Red 2nd, Black 1st, Yellow 2nd and so on. The winners of Green and Pink will play in the Championship Final and the winners of Brown and White will play in the Plate Final. Finals matches will be play on Sunday, February 22nd starting at 4:30pm. The winner will have their name engraved on the Summertime Trophy. The prize money is: - Winner: $100 and two Cammeray Whisky glasses Runner Up: $50 and one Cammeray Whisky glass Plate Winner: $50 and one Cammeray Whisky glass
