Capital Athletics is excited to announce the long awaited return of the High Noon series in 2026. After an immensely successful High Noon campaign in 2025, this year promises to bring the same high-octane atmosphere to Woden this August.
For athletes ready to take the next level in their athletic career, this series of events provides the perfect opportunity to improve on their existing performances, and refine their abilities in time for our action-packed Summer athletics program. And for those with a competitive edge, or those that are potentially chasing CA Championship glory come February, this series of meets allows you to sharpen your skills for what is sure to be a high-energy, dynamic Summer competition schedule in the nation's capital.
The same, familiar High Noon format that athletes of all ages have come to know, back and better than ever. See below for more information.
Eligibility
Athletes must be:
Registered and financial members of aCapital Athletics member club, anAustralianAthletics-affiliatedclub, a Little Athletics Australia-affiliated club, or aWorld Athletics-affiliated overseas club.
Para athletes must have at least aProvisional Classificationand cannot compete in both able-bodied and Para events for the same age category.
Athletesmustbe 10 years old by the 31st of Decemberin order to compete. Additionally, certain age eligibility rules may apply to specific events. Please refer to the technical regulations for complete eligibility requirements (TBC).

Track
Sprints: 100m, 200m, 400m
Middle Distance: 1500m, 3000m
Hurdles: 80m Hurdles, 90m Hurdles, 100m Hurdles, 110m Hurdles
