Shoe regulations: World Athletics regulations for athletic shoes will only be enforced for World Ranking events. Shoes can be checked for compliance here.
Age Eligibility: Under 15, Under 16, Under 17, Under 18, Under 20 and Open age groups will determined by the age of the athlete as at 31 December of the year following the competition. For example, if an athlete is 15 years old on 31 December of the year of competition, they will be competing in the Under 17 age group. This ensures that under age athletes are using the competition specifications relevant to the event that they will be eligible to compete in at the Australian Athletics Championships.
