Welcome to the 2026 CDBA High School Cup!
As you may know, CDBA had to make the difficult decision of canceling the Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival this year due to resource constraints, with the majority of our staff heading off to CCWC Taiwan. But in order to support the youth teams, the annual College Cup has agreed to include a High School Cup this year!
Registration fees are based on the number of Mixed Crews you register. Mixed Crews must contain a minimum of 16 paddlers, including a minimum of eight (8) and a maximum of ten (10) of each gender. On a space-available basis (subject to capacity constraints), each Mixed Crew registered also receives a complimentary 0.5 entry into Open and Girls Divisions.
CDBA Team: $400 early bird / $500 regular
Non-CDBA Local Team: $550 early bird / $650 regular
Visiting Team (>100 miles): $300 early bird / $400 regular
Early bird deadline is August 31st!
In addition, each entry requires a $100 refundable trash deposit which will be refunded after the race if the crew does a good job cleaning up their site and leaving it better than they found it (please take before and after photos of your site). During the registration process, please indicate your preferred refund method (either via Zelle or physical check sent in the mail).
Registration Instructions:
CDBA teams: Please have your primary POC submit the team registration and pay the registration fees. This POC will be the individual who will receive communications from the race organizers.
Non-CDBA teams: Please have your primary POC obtain a DragonPass for this race, and then submit team registration and pay the registration fees. If you need assistance, please contact membership@cdba.org.
NOTE: Registration is NOT complete until payment is received. We highly recommend paying through RevSport directly (credit/debit card) for immediate payment confirmation. If you send a physical check, your registration is not considered complete until the check is received and cashed (which will take some time).
NOTE: All CDBA steers people must be certified through CDBA (with red cards).
Once your team is registered, your primary POC will receive further information via email about how to handle online waivers and manifests.
Our goal is to create a fun, competitive event for our college paddlers. If you have questions, please reach out to collegeracedirector@cdba.org.
Refund Policy: Registration fees are refundable and transferable until the early bird registration deadline, minus a 25% administrative fee. After that, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
