We are seeking volunteers to help out at 2025 Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival (NCIDBF) 2-day event (September 20-21). We have two shifts (morning and afternoon) available for volunteers throughout each day of the festival. We appreciate the many volunteers from the community who want to help out.
Frequently asked questions: What experience or skills are required to volunteer?
None! While it is great to have dragon boating experience, it is absolutely not required to help out at the race. Consider this your first introduction to dragon boating!
Optional but recommended: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves
DO NOT WEAR: jeans, cotton, or fleece because you may get wet.
We have two shifts for Saturday and Sunday: (1) 7:30 am – 12:30 pm; (2) Noon – 5:00 pm.
For the Morning Shift (7:30 am – 12:30 pm)
For the Afternoon Shift (Noon – 5:30 pm)
All volunteers will be provided lunch, and morning volunteers will be provided a light breakfast.
