Welcome to the 2025 Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival - Comp/Rec Division!
This event will include dragon boat racing, Dragon Land for kids and Market Area with different vendors, including Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office of San Francisco. The festival will be will be held at Leo J Ryan, Foster City CA. We'll start our activities at 8am and end by 5pm on both days, with an award ceremony after the second day of racing. This year, we have invited visiting teams to participate and custom medals specialty designed for this festival will be awarded to our winners!
Registration fees are based on the number of Mixed Crews you register. Mixed Crews must contain a minimum of 16 paddlers, including a minimum of eight (8) females and a maximum of ten (10) male paddlers. On a space-available basis (subject to capacity constraints), each Mixed Crew registered also receives a complimentary 0.5 entry into Open, Womens, Masters, and College Divisions.
If you are interested in tent rental (includes installation and tear-down) through a vendor that we are using, please send an email to membership@cdba.org. The cost is $200 per day that includes rental fee for the tent, 4 weights to hold down tents, plus labor cost.
In addition, each entry requires a $100 refundable trash deposit which will be refunded after the race if the crew does a good job cleaning up their site and leaving it better than they found it (please take before and after photos of your site). During the registration process, please indicate your preferred refund method (either via Zelle or physical check sent in the mail).

Refund Policy: Registration fees are refundable and transferrable until August 2nd, minus a 25% administrative fee. After that, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
