The CDBA College Cup is 100% volunteer-run, so we need your help to ensure this race goes smoothly!

We appreciate the many volunteers from the community who want to help out, and we also hope that each local team participating in the race can also rally four (4) non-paddling volunteers to help out for volunteer shifts.

We have three shifts: Shift A in the early morning (5am-8am), Shift B in the late morning (7:30am-1pm) and Shift C in the afternoon (12:30pm-5pm). Please indicate your preference during the registration process. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions:

• What experience or skills are required to volunteer?
  • None!  While it is great if you have dragon boat experience, it is absolutely not required to help out at the race.  Consider this your first introduction to dragon boating! 
• What should I bring and wear on race day?
  • Wear: water-resistant clothing, water-resistant shoes
  • DO NOT WEAR: jeans, cotton, or fleece because you may get wet, especially if you are helping with the dock!
  • Optional but recommended: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves
