Cairns Cycling Club and MiHaven Women's Racing Team is proud to present a Come and Try Day, featuring a skills session for women and juniors on the amazing Mako Track in Mareeba. It's the track where Cairns Cycling Club holds some of their criterium races.
There's no traffic, there will be no racing, just dedicated time and coaching by experienced coaches to improve bike handling and cornering skills.
The time before lunch time will be dedicated to coaching riders of different levels around the various courses on the track, teaching which lines one could be taking, and how to position your bike along with other cycling skills to improve your overall riding.
After lunch time we'll open the track up to anyone who'd like to just roll around under supervision.
Register your attendance here and bring $20 cash to the track. For families with multiple children, it's $20 for the first child and $10 for each subsequent child.
