Round 1 - Sunday November 17th 2024, 7am

Beach bash! Rotary Park, North St Woorim, Bribie Island (the car park at the end of North St near Eighth Avenue)

Phill Driver will be your host.

Amenities include parking and toilets  plus lots of shady trees. 
Bring along a plate to share for morning tea afterwards, and a cup for tea/coffee.

The run will be a naked run, so no watches or phones allowed.

Total distance is 2.5km.

You need to give me a time that you think you will run.

Closest male and female to their time wins.

Run is half on the path / road, and half on the beach.

• Half or the field will go up the concrete path/road to the shops, then onto the beach for the return.
• The other half of the field will go up the beach first, then come back on the path.

Warning - The beach is eroded, and the tide will be up a bit, so expect to get wet feet.

If anyone is keen to do some games, I'd be happy if you put your hand up to arrange, as I'm not very good at that kind of stuff.

I need 1 person to be Marshal. At the shops 1,25k from the start. Please let me know if you can help.
