Course Overview

Build on the skills you've developed in Start Sailing 1 and become more confident and capable handling a sailing dinghy. Develop your boat handling, sailing techniques and understanding of how to sail in different conditions, while continuing to build your independence and confidence on the water. You'll learn from a qualified Sailing Instructor in a supportive environment.

BYS provides all the equipment needed for the course, including boats and lifejackets.

Course Prerequisites

Water confident, with the skills and knowledge gained through Start Sailing 1 or equivalent sailing experience.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing 2 completion certificate.

Course Overview

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who have completed Start Sailing 1 and are wanting to learn and continue to develop their fundamental sailing skills.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing 2 completion certificate.
