Thank you for volunteering for the RS Aero Worlds at Blairgowrie in January 2027. With the event getting closer, it’s time to get our volunteer team ready for a great week of racing.

We’re running three in-person training sessions at BYS and one online session, and we’d love every volunteer to attend one of the sessions.

The session will include an overview of the event, how the week will run, and information specific to the different volunteer roles. It’s a chance to make sure everyone knows what to expect, understands their role and has an opportunity to ask questions before the event.

Training will cover roles across both land and water, including:

On land

• Marshals and beach crew
• Technical Committee and measurement
• Registration team
• Results team

• Start box

On water

• Start boats
• Course laying boats
• Rescue boats
• Finish boats
• Rounding teams

Please register for one session only, choosing the date and format that works best for you. We look forward to getting the whole team together and ready for the Worlds.
