Get your ILCA ready for the new season!

YST ILCA Spring Up is a chance for existing ILCA sailors to get back on the water before the new Junior Sail Training season begins. Whether you sailed with YST last season or have been part of the program in previous years, come along for one or both days of warm-up training with our Sailing Coaches.

It's a great opportunity to check over your boat and rigging, get your gear organised and spend some time on the water before the season gets underway.

You can join us for one day or both. Each session will include a mix of on-water sailing and training, with the focus on getting back into the rhythm of sailing and building confidence ahead of the season.

10.00 am – Arrive, check boats and rig up
10.30 am – Head out on the water for warm-up training
Approx. 3.00 pm – Return and pack up

If your boat needs some attention, bring along anything you need to check or adjust before the season starts. Our coaches will be on hand to help sailors get organised and make the most of their time on the water.

These sessions are designed for sailors who already have ILCA sailing experience and have previously participated in YST ILCA training. If you're new to sailing an ILCA, this session isn't the right fit just yet.

Registration is essential and places are limited so we can provide the right level of support for each sailor.

Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.
