Adult Dinghy Racing Development Program 

This is an extended training program designed for beginner club racers who are keen to improve their racing skills. This is a new initiative, so there is a minimum number of participants required to run this program. Register ASAP so we can solidify the program into our training calendar.

Basic overview of what the program looks like: 

• Must have completed Start Sailing 1 and Start Sailing 2
• Frequently participate in club racing or would with more skill development - aimed at sailors in the back-half of the fleet
• Must own their own boat (this program is aimed at Sabre or Aero sailors)
• Sessions running Saturday mornings from around 10am-12pm before club racing
• Program Sat 6 Dec - Sat 31 Jan
• Syllabus: adjustable to the participants specific goals/needs, but includes sessions on starts, sail trim, rigging for speed, picking wind/tide and using to advantage.
• Cost: $270 for 9 sessions

Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.
