2025 Bundaberg Closed Table Tennis Championships

Dates:

• 5 - 7 September (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Location: Bundaberg Table Tennis Centre, 61 Kendalls Rd, Avoca, 4670.

Registration:

• DO NOT PAY ONLINE!!! Entry fees for ALL events entered must be paid prior to playing your first event.

• Please read the TOURNAMENT CONTROL below carefully, check the Event Timetable and your ratings in the Club Rating List here before registering.

• Please login to see the "Register" button on the top-left corner. Click the button and follow the prompts OR fill out the forms available at the canteen.

• Closing Date for All Entries: Sunday, 31 August (23:30 pm for Online Submission)

Entry Fees:

• All events: $5.00 each
• Maximum entry fee: $30.00 (Enter as many events as you wish)

Important Notes (TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS):

• Only current Club and Social members of Bundaberg & District TTA Inc. are eligible to enter, except for Special Olympics members (Event 41).
• All ratings and seedings are at the discretion of the Association's Grading Committee. Seeded players may be placed directly into the knockout rounds. See Club Players Ratings List here.
• Events with fewer than four entries may be cancelled or combined with another event.
• All singles events will be played on a round robin first round basis, with finals if required. Only the winner of each round robin will advance to the knockout stage.
• Doubles events may be played as round robins or knockout, depending on the number of entries.
• In Events 35 & 36 the round robin stage will be best of 5 games; all knockout rounds will be best of 7 games. If there is only one group in either event, all matches in that group will be best of 5 games. In all other events, all matches will best of 5 games, except Events 4, 7, 8 & 9 which will be best of 3 games.
• Players from lower grades, or age groups other than their own, may be balloted out of events if entries are large.
• For Events 1-7, ALL Junior registered members are eligible.
• Junior Age Events are as at 1/1/25, i.e., to play in U/13, the player must have been under or turning 13 years of age on 1/1/25.
• Veteran Age Events are as at 31/12/25, i.e., to play O/40, the player will have turned at least 40 before the end of 2025.
• For Event 41, players registered with Bundaberg Special Olympics are eligible to enter, as well as Bundaberg TTA members.
• Players may enter ONLY ONE EVENT in each timeslot. Players must be ready to start events at the correct time or risk forfeit.

Awards:

• Trophy for Event Champions of Under 19 Men's and Women's Singles, and Men's and Women's Open Singles.

• Certificates will be awarded to all winners and runners-up on the day once the event concludes.
