2020 BUDOKAN MONster & JUNIOR TOURNAMENT

Sunday 1st March,2020

 

Pre-Entry: All competitors must login and register on-line via the Judo NSW website before midnight Thu 27th Feb,2020 OR entering on the day will be accepted.

 

Weight Divisions: Will be determined on the day to maximise division sizes. During on-line entry, please nominate the closest weight although these may not necessarily apply on the day.

 

Entry Fee: $25.00 per player. Spectators Free

 

MONS - Weigh-in – 9am - 9:30am

Eligibility:  Must turn 6, 7 or 8 in 2020 i.e. born in 2012, 2013, 2014

NOVICE  Belt colours: White Yellow, White Yellow with Black Tip

GRADED Belt colours: Yellow Belt and Higher

 

Indicative Weight divisions: 

Girls/Boys – U21, U24, U27, U31, U35, U40, U45, O45kg

 

JUNIOR BOYS/GIRLS - Weigh-in – 10:30am – 11am

Eligibility:  Must turn 9, 10 or 11 in 2020 i.e. born in 2009, 2010 and 2011

NOVICE Belt colours: White Yellow, White Yellow with Black Tip, Yellow, Yellow with Black Tip, Yellow Orange, Yellow Orange with Black Tip

GRADED Belt colours: Orange Belt and Higher

 

Indicative Weight divisions:

Girls – U25, U29, U32, U36, U40, U44, U48, U52, O52kg

Boys – U24, U27, U30, U34, U38, U42, U46, U50, O50kg

 

All athletes must have a White Judogi 

 

A raffle, barbecue and canteen will be running on the day.

Special prizes will be awarded to players at the end of the competition. These include Best Spirit, Best Ne-Waza, Best Throw, Player of the Day.

Vehicle entry to the Showground now available from Showground Rd via De Clambe Drive, or from Carrington St via Doran Drive. It is now also very easy to travel to Budokan via rail with the club only 200m walk from the Showground Metro Station.
