Get involved at BSYC for a 3 hour session suitable for kids and adults. We'll have instructors and volunteers at hand plus Tackers boats, 420s, NS14s and Sharpies. Learn some basics, enjoy the ride and see what happens at our amazing 'off the beach' yacht club. Help us celebrate 100 years!!

Discover Sailing Day – Come and Try Sailing!

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing
