Bundaberg Sailing Club presents the Australian Sailing - Tackers 1 & 2 - Learn to sail course. 

The Course will be carried out over 4 weekends, Saturdays and Sundays from 8am - 12pm, at the Bundaberg Sailing Club, on the beautiful Burnett river. 

The Tackers 1&2 courses will be a fun and exciting course for the kids, a good way to build social skills and on-water confidence, all while learning to sail a Dinghy.

Course Overview
This course aims to provide children aged 7-12 with a fun, safe and affordable way to get into sailing. 

This is a Tackers combined course (a combination of Tackers 1, 2, 3). The combined course enables individual progression accross its duration, whilst allowing friends to remain together.

Tackers will always be about fun, social engagement and safety.

Course Prerequisites

• Water confident
• 7-12 years-old

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to have fun and learn the basics of sailing through games on and off the water.

Course Outcome

By the end of the Tackers combined course, the participants will achieve the standards of either Tackers 1, 2, or 3 and have had a lot of FUN!
