Welcome to Brothers Hockey Club for the 2024 hockey season.
REGISTRATION
Registrations are open for the 2024 season!
It is a 3-step process to become registered:
Steps 1 and 2 must be completed before taking the field for your first game.
1. Register with Hockey Qld/Hockey Aust - this provides your compulsory insurance and also registers you with Brothers at the same time! Please note that this fee MUST be paid at the time of registration. Click on the links at the bottom of this page as a Returning Member or New Member.
2. Register with Cairns Hockey Association for the 2024 season. These fees can be paid upfront in one lump sum or you can select a payment plan and pay over a number of months.

3. Third and Final step, Brothers Hockey Club will invoice you. These are our club fees, they are broken up into 3 components. Club Fees, Training fees (if applicable), and the Cairns Hockey team nomination fee. If you are playing a second game in another division, you will be invoiced the team nomination fee a second time. These fees will be invoiced after the season has started.
A break down of the fees is provided in the table below. Invoices for fees for 2024 will be sent out in a few weeks.

TRAINING
U8 - U10s – Training is on Tuesdays 4.30pm - 5.15pm at our Clubhouse, Calanna Park Sondrio St Woree. Games at CHA Commencing Friday 08th March, 2024. 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
U12 Girls and U13 Boys - Training is on Mondays 4.30pm - 5.30pm on Rainforest turf at Cairns Hockey grounds. Rutherford St Gates will be open. Games at CHA Commencing Saturday 09th March, 2024.
U14 Girls, U16 Boys and U18 Women - Training is on Mondays. U14 Girls 5.30pm - 6.30pm - U16 Boys and U18 Women 6.30pm - 7.30pm on Rainforest turf at Cairns Hockey grounds. Rutherford St Gates will be open. Games at CHA Commencing Friday 08th March and Saturday 09th March, 2024.
A, B, and C Grades - Training is on Mondays 7.30pm - 8.30pm on Rainforest turf at Cairns Hockey grounds. Rutherford St Gates will be open. Games at CHA Commencing Saturday 16th March, 2024.
Club Fitness Training For All Members– Fitness training is on every Wednesday at Brothers Hockey Clubhouse, Sondrio St, Woree 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the club fitness training sessions. Fitness training will continue weekly throughout the year, coaches/managers will advise when fitness will not be held.
