Welcome to Brothers Hockey Club for the 2026 hockey season.
REGISTRATION
Registrations are open for the 2026 season!
If you are registering for the U7, U9 or U11 Hockey Hereos program you DO NOT need to register with Qld hockey first. Go directly to the Cairns Hockey page to register there.
Please Note if you have an ABN number please contact the club before Registering, details bottom of this page.
It is a 3-step process to become registered:
Steps 1 and 2 must be completed before taking the field for your first game.
STEP 1. Register with Hockey Qld/Hockey Aust - this provides your compulsory insurance and also registers you with Brothers at the same time! Please note that this fee MUST be paid at the time of registration. Click on the links at the bottom of this page as a Returning Member or New Member.
STEP 2. Register with Cairns Hockey Association for the 2026 season. These fees can be paid upfront in one lump sum or you can select a payment plan and pay over a number of months. Click on Link Below.

STEP 3. Third and Final step, Brothers Hockey Club will invoice you. These are our club fees, they are broken up into 3 components. Club Fees, Training fees (if applicable), and the Cairns Hockey team nomination fee. If you are playing a second game in another division, you will be invoiced the team nomination fee a second time. These fees will be invoiced after the season has started. Brothers Club Fees have yet to be set for 2026
A break down of the fees is provided in the table below. Invoices for fees for 2026 will be sent out in several weeks.

TRAINING
Training is on Reef Turf for the month of February and Rainforest Turf for the month of March then swaps monthly for the remainder of the year.
Reef turf entry is through Lilly St Gate and Rainforest turf entry is through Rutherford St Gate.
Training commences Tuesday 10th February 2026.
U7 - U9s – Training is on Tuesdays 4.30pm - 5.15pm.
J3 Girls and J3 Boys - Training is on Tuesdays 4.30pm - 5.30pm.
J2 Girls and J2 Boys - Training is on Tuesdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
J1 Boys and J1 Girls - Training is on Tuesdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm.
A, B, and C Grades - Training is on Tuesdays 7.30 - 8.30pm.
Club Fitness Training For All Members– Fitness training is on every Wednesday at CHA Field 1 6.00pm to7.00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the club fitness training sessions. Fitness training will continue weekly throughout the year, coaches/managers will advise when fitness will not be held.
