Briars Umpiring invites all club members or supporters interested in umpiring to attend this session to find out how to become involved in umpiring at Briars.

The club cannot field teams without umpires, and it is a great way to be involved with the club and the sport of hockey more broadly.

Key topics include:

1. What it means to be an umpire

2. the basics of learning the rules

3. Signals & Whistle skills

5. The pathways for umpires
