It's back! 2026 season is back under way for all clubs although many have had interruptions and set backs with the wet start to the year especially up northern areas of our great state.

Weather affected Bowen's start to the season  by a week or two with the grounds being water logged ... almost could have held a swim season one week! After completeing two weeks worth of proper club days it lead into the school holidays and Easter.. looking forward to getting back into it soon with you all.

ANQ have released the updated calander for 2026 as well for those who like to travel and compete against others..... did you know it covers more than just traditional athletics?

next event is the NQ cross country champs in the Whitsundays (12/4), Burdekin sugar rush- road running(26/4), followed by the NQ GAMES ( Mackay 2-3/5)
