Join Us for the Boskop Open Regatta! 

Get ready to set sail! The Optimist Northern Region, in conjunction with the Boskop Open Regatta, we invite skippers young and old and crews to the Boskop Open Regatta together with the 2026 NW Youth Dinghy Regional Championship. We are gearing up for an exciting weekend on the water.

ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY

1. 1. The regatta is open to all boats of all classes
   2. Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form and submitting it, together with the fee, to

   3. To be considered an entry in the event, a boat shall complete all registration requirements and pay all fees (Payable via EFT or CASH at the club).
   4. Late entries will be accepted under the following conditions: Up until the start of the second race of the event.
   5. All competitors shall be members in good standing of SA Sailing and of a yacht club affiliated to and in good standing with SA Sailing (or their equivalent in the case of non-South Africans) and legally permitted to compete.
   6. Proof of such membership shall be presented at registration.

Event Details:

·         Dates: 24 October 2026 -25 October 2026

·         Location: Boskop Yacht Club.

·         Eligibility: Open to all boats of the dinghy classes that have youth as crew and skippers. All competitors must be members in good standing of SA Sailing.

• Registration: 24 October, from 07H00 to 08H00.
• First Race: The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race is 09h24 on the 24th of October 2026.
• Entry Fees Boskop Open regatta : 
  • Senior double-handed sailor - R400
  • Senior single-handed sailor - R350
  • Students & Junior sailor - R250

Eligible boats may enter by using Revsport Boskop Yacht Club website or submitting it at registration.
