Welcome to the 2023/24 season of softball. REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!
Now is the time to register for the best summer sport there is. All current and previous Boomerangs members will have recieved an email outlining information for the upcoming season.
To ensure you can be placed in an appropriate team, please ensure you have registered before 6 September 2023. Registering after this time will not guarantee you a place in a team.
Fee information can be accessed when selecting in to register here. For newly interested players, the below sets out details of our competitions:
Juniors Comp
We enter teams into the U8 and U10 Teeball competition, U12 Softball and High School Division 1 and 2 softball competitions. Junior competitions are mixed. Fun and participation is the focus for all teams.
Our Juniors play on Saturday mornings, with the season due to commence 7 October with a Carnival seeing games played on both Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th. U8s and U12’s play at 8am, U10s and HS Division 2 play at 9:45am, and HS Division 1 play at 11:30am. All games are played at Hawker.
Women's League
We enter teams into each of the Premier and Social Leagues (C to E grade). Boomerangs Softball Club give women the opportunity to play softball in a fun and friendly environment. We pride ourselves on being inclusive and supportive and we cater for all abilities from beginner through to elite level.
Our Women’s team play on Saturday afternoons, with the season due to commence 7 October. Finals will take place on 16/23 March 2023. Game times rotate between 1:30pm, 3:30pm or 5:30pm.
Men's League
Boomerangs will be entering a C Grade team again for the 23/24 season. Looking to expand on great performance last year, our Men’s C Grade team are on the look out for men aged 15+ that are both looking for a fun and slightly competitive team to play in, right through to those who may have further aspirations.
C Grade Men play on Monday nights – game times of either 6:30am or 8:15pm. Season is due to commence on 9 October going through to March 2024.
Women's Mid Week Competition
Softball ACT are running a mid-week competition for Women (both Premier and Social league players welcome). This competition plays on Tuesday evenings, commencing 10 October.
