Event Waiver and Release of Liability
Event: 2026 Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association Juniors Presentation Evening

By attending the 2026 Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association Juniors Presentation Evening (the "Event"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk:
You understand that participation in the Event involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to injury or damage to personal property, and you voluntarily accept these risks.
2. Waiver and Release:
You hereby waive, release, and discharge the Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of your participation in the Event, whether caused by your own actions, the actions of others, or the conditions of the event.
3. Medical Consent:
In the event of an emergency, you consent to the administration of any medical treatment deemed necessary by the event organizers or medical personnel. You understand that you are responsible for any medical costs incurred due to your participation in the Event.
4. Allergies and Medical Conditions:
You are responsible for informing the Event organizers of any known allergies or medical conditions that may affect your participation in the Event. The Event organizers are not liable for any allergic reactions or medical issues that arise during the Event if the appropriate notifications were not provided.
5. Photography and Media:
You grant permission to Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association to photograph, record, or video your participation in the Event for promotional and marketing purposes. You understand that your image or likeness may appear in event materials, websites, and social media, and you waive any rights to compensation for such use.
6. Behavior:
You agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner during the Event. Any disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the Event without refund.
7. Liability for Damage or Injury:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association from any and all claims, demands, or actions arising from your participation in the Event, including but not limited to injury, loss, or damage to property.
8. Acknowledgement of Understanding:
By attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
