Dear Bellarine Members,

The 2025/26 AVSL Season kicks off Saturday, October 11, and we’re excited to begin another summer of track and field competition!

This season, Bellarine Athletics will compete in Division 4, with 10 rounds of competition across regional and metro venues. The club finishing on top of the ladder after Round 10 will take home the AVSL Shield for their division.

We’re also thrilled to share that Bellarine Athletics will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in March 2026—a huge milestone for the club! More details on the celebration will be shared during the season, but we’re looking forward to marking the occasion with our members, past and present.

🗓️ Round 1 Details

• Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
• Venues: Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Knox, Williamstown
• Entries Open: 5pm Wednesday, October 1
• Entries Close: Midday Wednesday, October 8

🏃NEW - Priority Entry

Priority entry will be in place for this season. Athletes will have first access to register in their club’s home zone until Friday midday, after which entries will open to all athletes across all venues.

✅ Registration & Check-In Process

To compete in AVSL, athletes must register for each round individually.

• Priority Entry opens 10 days before the round (Wednesday 5pm)
• General Entry opens 8 days before the round (Friday Midday)
• Entries Close3 days before the round (Wednesday Midday)

There are no on-the-day entries, so please register early to secure your spot.

Check-In:

• Opens 5pm Friday before the round
• Must be completed at least 60 minutes before your event

Manual check-in is available at the venue if needed

🎽 Uniform Requirement

All members are now required to compete in the official Bellarine Athletics uniform featuring the updated logo. Please make sure to update your uniform is you still have one with the old logo. Uniforms can be:

• Purchased online at our Shop 
• Collected at Round 1, or Alternative collection arrangements can be made by contacting the club

📊 Scoring & Club Success

This season officials/helpers will again contribute to club points.

Bellarine will need to provide 4 officials per round to earn bonus points. 

Each member will be required to perform or provide someone to do a duty at least once or twice during the season. Please register/indicate your availability early to help us meet our quota.
