Record-Breaking Day for Bellarine!

Great conditions at AVSL Round 2 saw three of our athletes smash Geelong Centre records in sensational style!
Melissa Foot lit up the track in the 50+ category, setting two new records:
100m – 13.95 PB (previous record - 14.19, Wendy Talbot, 2010) 200m – 29.56 (previous record - 29.87, Jacinta Burns, 2020)
Miller Smith bettered his own U18 400m Hurdles (83cm) record with an impressive 53.04, improving on his 53.58 set back on the 8th of February this year.
Josh Unthank stormed through the 3000m with a 19-second PB of 8:27.59, setting new records for both: U19 & U20 – breaking the long-standing record of 8:31.1 held by Lee Troop (1991).
