On Sunday 1st March we hosted the NEDCA Division 1 and Division 2 Qualifiers. The day began a little overcast and warm, with some light rain in the afternoon, but thankfully the heavier rain stayed away. The standard of croquet on display was fantastic to watch, with some truly impressive play throughout the day.

The lawns looked magnificent — as you can see in the photo, they are in superb condition and a credit to everyone involved in their upkeep.

We thank all players who travelled to compete and everyone who came along to support the event. A special thank you to our members who helped prepare the courts and keep the day running smoothly — your efforts are always greatly appreciated.

The Division 2 winner was our very own Frank Bonacci. Congratulations Frank, and all the very best at Cairnlea in April when you represent NEDCA.

The Division 1 winner was John Collins from Wodonga. Congratulations John, and good luck to you at Cairnlea.
