For those that might be wondering what gets talked about:

 

On the formal side we confirm minutes, receive reports from committee members, and consider vacancies on the Committee. 

 

On the discussion side we’ll certainly be reviewing the year’s rides program, and looking for ideas for more. And we’ll also be reviewing the significant advocacy challenges/opportunities we’re currently facing - Council’s unravelled plans for an East West, North Strathfield to BayRUN route using separated paths and quiet streets, a new active transport plan for Canada Bay [“started” as a bike plan in 2018, still to be started in 2026], advocacy for a safer and more efficient cycling route to the city, the NSW govt’s zero cycling vision for the new Rhodes Peninsula developments, and very unclear vision for the Parramatta Rd and Metro station developments, what has happened to the Local Traffic Committee ... and more …. including any questions or suggestions that you send to me before the meeting. [How will that all fit in 60 minutes ……. it won’t, but we can agree times to continue discussions.]
