Ride clockwise from Concord through to Epping, returning via Hunters Hill. Will return from Hunters Hill via an extended scenic route along the Parramatta River to Concord.
This loop is moderately hilly, particularly initially as it heads up to Epping. The ride uses back streets from Epping through to Pittwater Rd at North Ryde. From there the ride uses its shared path to reach the Hunters Hill area, Coffee is expected to be had at either a new coffee shop in North Ryde (Maggio's Ryde), or in Hunters Hill.
The route will return by following an extended scenic path including the Gladesville Bridge, then around to Cabarita and Mortlake, prior to returning to Concord.
The route is largely on road, shared paths, and on-road cycle paths and as noted, has some moderate hills, so the ride is suited to experienced cyclists.
The ride does initially pass near or through several railway stations which would provide options for riders to leave the ride. Check how trackwork might impact these options for the day. Optionally riders could turn around at any point and retrace the route, but please let the ride leader know BEFORE you leave the ride
