Route
From Concord, the ride travels the Cooks River via Ashfield and Taren Point Bridge out to Cronulla. Return is via a similar way but using some back streets as well, along the Cooks River, but then Hawthorne Canal to the start.
Ride is suited to riders who are used to doing similar long distances. Riders should be comfortable undertaking a number of short hills. Also riding on a mix of quiet streets and shared paths, but also passing through shopping strip streets and busier roads. There is a lengthy section around Brighton Le Sands where we may travel as a pack taking the lane, side by side.
