Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Barwon Rowing Club will be held on Friday 17th July 2025 at 6:30PM to 7:00PM at the Boat Shed. All members are invited and welcome.

Nominations for the Club Committee (2026-2027) can be completed online or emailed to the Secretary, Bek De Grandi (secretary@barwonrc.asn.au). These need to be received by Friday 10 July. Any Agenda items to be received by 26 June as per the rules below.

The nomination should include:

• The position that is being nominated for (committee member or office bearer)
• A financial member who seconds your nomination.

Please CC the proposer or the nominee in the email or provide an email address, so that their support can be received in writing (as per Rule 27 of the constitution).

Please also note the following Rules of the Barwon Rowing Club:

RULE 27

All nominations for Office Bearers and the Committee of the Club shall (a) be in writing, (b) be signed by both the proposer and the nominee, (c) and be lodged with the Secretary at least 7 days before the commencement of the AGM.

RULE 36

Notice of any motion, which is proposed by any member to be put before an AGM of the Club shall be given by such member in writing to the Secretary not less than 21 days prior to the date of the AGM before which the motion is to be put. The Secretary shall include motion so received in the notice to members calling the AGM, in accordance with the provisions above.
