We’re excited to launch Balmoral Sailing Club’s X Balmoral Watersport Centre new Social Sailing Program! This is a great opportunity to enjoy sailing, meet new people, and have fun on the water.
First Social Sailing
Date: Saturday, 7th February
Time: 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM TBC
Location: Balmoral Sailing Club
What’s Included:
- Catamaran sailing (approx. 4 per boat)
- Lifejackets
- Safety support & instructors
- Post-sail sausage sizzle
Cost: $68 per person
What to Bring:
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Comfortable sailing clothes & footwear
- Water, snacks and your own food should you have dietary requirements.
Important:
Please sign the waiver before participating. We’ll provide it on arrival.
Schedule:
- 8:45 AM – Arrive
- 9:00 AM – Welcome & briefing
- 9:45 AM – Sail!
- 11:45 AM – Return to beach and debrief
- 12:00 PM – End!

PLEASE NOTE:
-Paerticipants ust be 18yo or over
-Minimum of 5 participants is required for this event to go ahead.
-Balmoral Sailing Club and Balmoral Water sports Center reserve the right to cancel the event if weather is not suitable or for any other reason, participants will be contacted at least 24h prior and will receive a full refund.

- No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure

- Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions
Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.
By the end of the day, you’ll have:
- Experienced sailing firsthand
- Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
- Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing
