New Coaches

Want to become a coach?

New coaches can become registered by gaining a qualification as a Foundation Coach. Follow these steps:

Step 1:  Complete the online Foundation Coach Course with Badminton Australia

Step 2:  Book into the Face to Face Coaching course with Badminton WA

Completing these two steps successfully provides you with a badminton qualification for new coaches.

The cost of the online course (Part 1) includes the Badminton Australia annual coach registration fee.

PRE-REQUISITES

Upload your CURRENT CERTIFICATES of the following for the Face to Face course:

• Play by the Rules - Child Protection Online Course (free)

• Play by the Rules - Harassment and Discrimination Online Course (free)

• The online Foundation Course module- see Badminton Australia website. 

A current Working With Children Check (WWC) is required. Forms are available from any Post Office.  Badminton WA can sign off, if necessary.
