Badminton Victoria Junior Committee Nomination  (2 year term)
Commencing 1st December 2019

PURPOSE 
 
Reporting to the Board of Badminton Victoria, the Badminton Victoria Junior Committee (BVJC) is responsible for; 
•    The initiating and managing of junior programs and activities for the approval of Badminton Victoria (BV) in the State of Victoria. 
•    The co-ordination of selection, training and management of approved representative junior teams in consultation with appointed team officials. 
•    Liaising with BV on the appointment of selectors, coaches and managers and any other persons required for the proper conduct of junior badminton teams or individuals representing Victoria. 
•    Liaising, at least initially through the B.V office, with any groups perceived to have information or services relevant to increasing and/or improving the functions of the Committee.

COMMITTEE POSITIONS & TERM 

The BVJC committee is made up of 6 positions with the term of each position being 2 years commencing 1st December
•    Positions 1,3, & 5 are elected every odd year 
•    Positions 2,4 & 6 are elected every even year 
•    Frequency of meetings – Scheduled when required.
