Events Offered:

Open Division (Ken Coleman Perpetual Trophy)

Second Division

Depending on the number of entries received, teams may play qualifier matches to determine the division the team will play the rest of its tournament matches.

Open Division is an elite competition for schools who are generally winners or runners-up in their respective school association competition, have club, state or national level player(s) in their team or are looking for a significantly higher level of competition.

Second Division is for schools wishing to experience a greater level of competition outside their respective school associations or may not have competitive badminton being played in their school association.

Entry Format:

Due to the demand for places in this event entries are staggered. This is the first round of entries. If there are still places available at the close of the first round of entries, a second round will be opened. If there are still places available at the end of the second round a third round will be opened. Payment will be made once all entry rounds have been completed. Names for teams and players will be required once all rounds have been completed. You will be sent an invoice and details of how to enter team and player names at the end of the entry rounds.

Entry Timetable:

First Round Entries: 5 June - 2 September

Second Round Entries (if spaces still available):All places already taken

Third Round Entries (if spaces still available): All places already taken 

Team and Player names to be advised: 5 October - 9 October

Payment Required By (invoices will be sent previously): 9 October

(No late entries will be accepted. Players can only play with one team per day)

Team Entry Fees: Please note that payment will be by invoice which will be sent once entries close.

$100 per team (including GST)

Withdrawals:

Teams may withdraw from the championships until 5 October 2022 by emailing events@badmintonvic.com.au. Any withdrawals after issuance of invoices will not be refunded.
