Terms Of Registration

I acknowledge and agree that:

  1. I have read, understood and agree to abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy (available on the Sport Integrity Australia website HERE), effective from 1 January 2021. This policy has been adopted by Badminton Australia (BA) and is applicable to all participants in Badminton.
  2. I have read, understood and agree to abide by BA’s National Integrity Framework policies (available on the BA website, effective from 31st March 2022 and applicable to all participants in Badminton.
  3. I have read, understood and agree that any personal data I provide may be collected, stored and used by Badminton Australia in accordance with BA’s Privacy Policy.
  4. I have read, understood and agree to abide by all BA policies and codes of conduct and also agree to comply with any other policies adopted by BA and advised to me in future available on the Badminton Australia website.
  5. It is my responsibility to familiarise myself with these policies, including any updates to the policies and other policies as adopted by BA that I am advised of in future.
  6. A breach of these policies could result in further action being taken, as outlined in the respective policy.

Badminton Australia 

National Championships Coach Accreditation - Conditions of Use 

 

Coach Accreditation is issued by Badminton Australia (BA) to registered and accredited coaches only. It allows the holder to access designated coaching areas during the National Championships. 

 

Your accreditation is personal and non-transferable. 

 

By accepting your accreditation, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions: 

 

1. Personal Use Only 

  • Your coach accreditation is issued solely to you. 
  • It must not be lent, transferred, shared, exchanged or otherwise provided to any other person under any circumstances.

  • Only the person whose name appears on the accreditation may use it. 

 

2. Responsibility for Your Accreditation 

  • You are responsible for keeping your accreditation secure at all times. 
  • You must not allow another person to use your accreditation, even temporarily. 
  • Lost or stolen accreditations must be reported immediately to the Tournament Director or Badminton Australia staff. 

 

3. Consequences of Misuse 

  • If you are found to have shared your accreditation or permitted another person to use it, Badminton Australia may take one or more of the following actions: 
  • Immediate confiscation of your coach accreditation. 
  • Removal of your coaching access for the remainder of the event. 
  • Refusal to issue a replacement accreditation during the event. 
    • Referral to Badminton Australia for disciplinary action. 
    • Suspension or deregistration from the Badminton Australia Coach Registration Program.

    • These actions may be taken regardless of whether the other person is a registered coach or not. 

 

4. Compliance 

All coaches are expected to comply with: 

  • Tournament Conditions of Entry. 
  • Badminton Australia policies and procedures. 
  • Directions issued by Badminton Australia staff, tournament officials and venue security. 
  • Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action. 

 

Acknowledgement 

 

By applying for my Coach Accreditation, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to comply with these Conditions of Use. I understand that my accreditation is personal to me and that any misuse may result in the immediate loss of my coaching privileges at the event and may also place my Badminton Australia coach registration at risk.
