Come & Try Shuttle Smash

Join us on Saturday 26 September and Come n' Try Shuttle Smash  at the YONEX U13/U17 Australian National Championships 2026!

Designed for children aged 5–12 years, this fun school holiday activity is the perfect introduction to badminton. No experience is needed, and all equipment will be provided.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early to watch the thrilling Junior U/13 & U/17 Nationals Team Event. 

From 5:00pm – 6:00pm, children will hit the courts for an action-packed Shuttle Smash session featuring fun games, challenges and activities on the very same courts used by the Junior Nationals competitors. 

There will be giveaways, chances to learn new skills, opportunities to make new friends and badminton on the national stage.
