Shuttle Smash Experience

Join us on Tuesday July 7 for the Shuttle Smash Experience at the YONEX U15/U19 Australian National Championships 2026!

Designed for children aged 5–12 years, this fun school holiday activity is the perfect introduction to badminton. No experience is needed, and all equipment will be provided.

Participants are encouraged to arrive from 12:00pm to watch the thrilling Junior U/15 & U/19 Nationals Team Finals. Children will then have the opportunity to take part in the official finals presentations, a front-row experience.

From 1:00pm – 2:00pm, children will hit the courts for an action-packed Shuttle Smash session featuring fun games, challenges and activities on the very same courts used by the Junior Nationals competitors. Activities will be led by current Shuttle Smash leaders from Fit For Kids Co.

There will be giveaways, chances to learn new skills, opportunities to make new friends and badminton on the national stage.

Date:Tuesday 7th July
Arrive: From 12:00pm to watch the Team Finals and be part of the presentations
Activity Time: 1:00pm – 2:00pm (start time subject to team event conclusion)
