Five Years of BorderClash!!

In 2026, BorderClash celebrates its 5th birthday, five incredible years of bringing together junior roller derby skaters, coaches, officials, volunteers and families from across Australia.

Since launching in 2022, BorderClash has grown into Australia’s Largest Junior Roller Derby Tournament and Boot Camp, creating unforgettable experiences for junior skaters, from developing skaters through to Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 athletes.

This year marks another exciting milestone as, for the second year, we’ll be running two tracks simultaneously, meaning more derby, more action and even more incredible moments to capture.

We’re Looking for Official Photographers

We’re looking for photographers who can tell the full story of BorderClash.

From explosive jams and game winning moments to team huddles, celebrations, friendships and behind the scenes memories, your images will help preserve the spirit of this special milestone event.

With two tracks running throughout the weekend, we’re building a team of official photographers to capture the action from every angle.

Whether you’re experienced in roller derby photography, sports photography or have a strong eye for fast paced storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

Official photographers will be required to follow all BorderClash photography requirements and our Junior Policy.

Submit Your Expression of Interest

Tell us a little about yourself, your photography experience and include a link to your portfolio or examples of your work if available.

Come celebrate five years of BorderClash and help us capture every hit, every smile and every unforgettable moment.
