Since 2022, BorderClash has proudly hosted the largest junior roller derby tournament and boot camp in Australia. Following the tremendous success of our 2022, 2023, and 2024 events, we’re back in 2025, bigger, faster, and more action-packed than ever before!

This year, we’re thrilled to announce that for the very first time, BorderClash will run simultaneously across two tracks, doubling the adrenaline, the action, and the opportunities to capture unforgettable moments. It’s a game-changer for the tournament and a true showcase of the incredible talent rising through junior roller derby.

The Junior BorderClash Roller Derby Tournament gathers skaters aged 8–17 from across the nation, encompassing all skill levels, from beginners to Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 athletes. Over two electrifying days, these young stars will demonstrate their speed, skill, and teamwork in an atmosphere buzzing with excitement, fierce competition, and camaraderie.

From lightning-fast jams to heart-stopping finishes, BorderClash celebrates the grit, determination, and community spirit at the core of roller derby. Day 1 begins with an intensive boot camp, followed by back-to-back bouts throughout the weekend. Teams will battle hard for glory, cheered on by passionate supporters.

We are seeking talented official event photographers to capture every pulse-pounding moment, from high-speed action on both tracks to candid smiles and behind-the-scenes magic. Your work will help immortalize the spirit and legacy of BorderClash 2025 and inspire the wider roller derby community.
