FESTIVAL OF BIATHLON WEEKEND 

A Festival of Biathlon weekend is being held.

Biathlon activties will be held across the weekend to showcase biathlon in Victoria. Activties will include Time-Trial event, C&T Biathlon and Fun Relays. 

The Festival of Biathlon will be held with adherence to State Government requirements for Community Sport in Victoria.    

If you are ill or have flu-like symptions, please do not attend. 

If the event of the XC trails being non-operational, a dry-land program for the Festival of Biathlon will operate. 

Saturday 9th July

10.00am to 12noon:  Athlete Time-Trial (both .22 and  laser), fun relays 

Bib Pick-up from 8.30am / Zeroing for the Time-Trail will commnence at 9.00am and entrants will be zero-ed by coaches supporting the time-trial. 

2.00pm to 3.00pm: Come and Try Biathlon  - this is for both .22 biathlon and laser biathlon. If you would like to use an ABA Club rifle. please indicate when registering.

Sunday 10th July

10.00am to 12noon:  Athlete Time-Trial (both .22 and  laser), fun relays 

Bib Pick-up from 8.30am / Zeroing for the Time-Trail will commnence at 9.00am and entrants will be zero-ed by coaches supporting the time-trial. 

NOTE: Exact starting times will be confirmed in the week of the events. 

Equipment Required:  skate skis and poles are required to attend Festival of Biathlon activities.  

Laser biathlon equipment will be provided |.22 rifles will be available to use 

Cost: 

Come and Try Biathlon:  No cost

Time Trial Events and Fun Relays:  $15 for time trial and inclusion in fun relays 

Membership 

Membership of Australian Biathlon is required to attend the Festival of Biathlon events, If you do not have a membership, please become a Target Pass member, which is at no cost and allows attendance at 2 biathlon sessions.
