AU Rugby is offering a FREE Sports Taping Course for AUSF members & AU students.
This hands-on session will be delivered by James Wiltshire, an experienced sports physiotherapist with a Masters of Physiotherapy, Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, and a Masters of Research in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. James currently works with the SASI Paralympic Unit and has previously worked with SACA and Swimming Australia. He also brings practical experience from working across a range of sporting environments and is highly skilled in sports taping techniques.
The course will run from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Graduates Clubhouse (Park 10, Adelaide) and is designed for students interested in sport, allied health, or developing practical, hands-on skills relevant to athletic environments.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of sports taping, including techniques applicable across a variety of sports and physical activities. The session focuses on real-world application, guided by a practitioner with both clinical expertise and on-field experience.
Following the course, attendees are invited to stay for an included meal, refreshments, and informal networking.
What’s included:
- 2-hour practical sports taping course
- Certificate of completion
- Meal and drinks
- Giveaways and prizes
- AU Rugby membership and AUSF membership (included with registration)
This is a great opportunity to develop practical skills, gain exposure to sports physiotherapy techniques, and connect with others interested in sport and allied health.
