Welcome to the Adelaide University Netball Club Social League!

Games are held on Wednesday nights at Pridham Hall (Hindley Street), with game times at 5:40pm, 6:30pm, 7:20pm, and 8:10pm.

A free come and try night will be held on the 12th August, with the season officially commencing on 19 August.

What to expect on game night

The Social League is designed for players looking for a more casual style of play, or for those who are new to netball and keen to learn. Our umpires are friendly and happy to explain rules where needed.

Please aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to your game, as we adhere to strict start and finish times. All equipment, including bibs and netballs, is provided by AUNC. Water refill stations, change rooms, and showers are also available.

All players are required to:

• Have hair tied back

• Keep nails short (gloves are allowed under special circumstances)

• Remove all jewellery, including watches, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets etc

Games run for 40 minutes, consisting of four 10-minute quarters, with 1-minute breaks at quarter time and a 2-minute break at half time.

The Social League is a mixed-teams competition. We recommend team numbers of 9–12 players, keeping in mind that a maximum of three male players may be on court at one time (one per third).
